The Challenge
An 8-person Ukrainian software development team had been working remotely for EU clients when the situation in Ukraine made continued domestic operations untenable. The founders needed a new legal entity quickly, EU-based banking access, and a viable immigration route for their team. Speed was critical as client contracts were at risk of being paused due to force majeure concerns.
The Solution
Nexora formed a Cyprus private limited company on an expedited basis — completing the Registrar filing within five working days using the fast-track process. The company was immediately registered for VAT/VIES, enabling EU invoicing. Nexora simultaneously coordinated work permit applications under the Cyprus Fast-Track Business Activation mechanism for the core team members and their dependants.
The Outcome
The company was incorporated in five days and the first invoice to an EU client was issued within eight days of engagement. All eight team members successfully obtained work permits and established lawful residence in Cyprus within six weeks. The team has since grown to fourteen employees, all based in Limassol, and the company holds a long-term EU software development contract.
“When everything was collapsing around us, Nexora moved faster than we thought possible. Five days to a real company we could invoice from. I cannot describe what that meant for us.”
