— WHAT YOU GET
Choose 60-day (more flexible, 4 conditions) or 183-day (no other conditions). We model your day-count over the year and recommend the right path. 60-day fits remote founders; 183-day fits actual relocation.
EU citizens register for the Yellow Slip (Registration Certificate) under Directive 2004/38/EC. Issued by the Cyprus Civil Registry & Migration Department. Required for tax-residency registration.
Non-EU citizens apply for a Pink Slip (Temporary Residence Permit). Three categories: F (income from abroad), Cat 6.2 (employee), Digital Nomad. We file the right one for your circumstances.
TD 60-day or TD 183-day form, Cyprus TIN, non-dom self-declaration form. We handle all paperwork in Greek with the Tax Department on your behalf — you communicate with us in English throughout.
— PROCESS
Confirm 60-day vs 183-day path; identify any tax-residency conflicts with your current country (UK, Germany, etc.); model post-Cyprus tax exposure.
Establish a Cyprus address (rented or owned), file Yellow Slip / MEU1 (EU) or Pink Slip Cat F / Cat 6.2 (non-EU). Typical 4–8 weeks for the residence permit.
Submit TD 60-day or TD 183-day form, register for Cyprus TIN, file non-dom self-declaration. Receive Cyprus Tax Residency Certificate within 2–4 weeks.
IR1 personal tax return (annual), 60-day stay tracking compliance, optional family reunification (€300 spouse / €200 each child). Maintain genuine ties to Cyprus year-on-year.
— COMMON QUESTIONS
183-day: spend at least 183 days in Cyprus per calendar year — no other conditions. 60-day: spend ≥60 days, AND not be tax resident anywhere else, AND hold a permanent residence in Cyprus, AND carry on business or be employed in Cyprus. Both qualify you as a Cyprus tax resident; 60-day is more flexible if you travel a lot.
Yes. Your foreign company doesn't need to relocate. As a Cyprus tax resident receiving dividends from your foreign company, you'd pay 0% Cyprus SDC (under non-dom). However the foreign company may still owe corporate tax in its home jurisdiction, and there can be CFC implications — we model the full picture.
You typically need to formally cease tax residency in your old country. UK: split-year treatment + statutory residence test; submit a P85. Germany: Abmeldung at the Bürgeramt, exit tax (§6 AStG) if you hold ≥1% in a German company. We coordinate with local advisers for the exit-side filings.
Yes. Spouses can be added to the residence permit for €300; minor children for €200 each. If your spouse also wants independent tax residency + non-dom, that's an additional €699. Family members share the address and residency status.
Tax Resident package: Yellow Slip / Pink Slip filing, tax residency registration (TD 60-day or 183-day), non-dom registration, personal bank account intro (Bank of Cyprus or Hellenic), annual personal tax return template. Excludes property rental costs and any home-country exit-side filings (those are separate).
